Wealth

Wealth

We look at ourselves and compare our wealth to the wealth of other people. We see that they have more cars, homes, clothes, or whatever the material things are, and we forget that this is not wealth. I do just like everyone does. We get caught up in the comparisons of this world. We forget that being rich includes so much more than these things. It is only when we lose one of these precious relationship that we understand what it means to be poor. Our life has such a void. A void that hurts deeply. A void that cannot be filled. It is only then that we think very carefully of how rich we really have become. If a car or a piece of clothing is lost, this void does not exist. Think of the ways someone’s richness of character covers you and enriches your life. If that richness and enrichment is not with you, your heart hurts. Stop looking at the things your neighbor has and appreciate the souls that bring you wealth! You are probably the top earner in Forbes!

Wealth

My life is rich.

My soul fills deep with joy.

Every day I realize the relationships I have are that joy.

God you give so much to me.

So much that I know what presence really means.

Most of us never relish that richness of life.

We forget that it can be as rich as dark chocolate.

Or as rich as smooth cream.

Richness is not monies or possessions or power.

Richness is that voice, that smile, or that silence that permeates the soul.

Richness is that kiss, is a touch, or is the breath you are blessed to experience.

The breath you want to hold on to and never lose.

The breath that takes you unconsciously into that moment.

Oh! Yes! I am rich!

I am rich because I choose the moment to be still and know.

Don’t measure your wealth to someone else this week. Count the riches you have in others. I am rich in this life because I have you to join me. Thank you for being a part of the wealth in my life! It is very simple—relationships are so much more important than things!

Love,

Rennae

Equal Times

Equal Times

Equality is a word that can be controversial, a word that can be freeing, or a word that indicates bondage. When we come into this world we all enter the same way, through a birth of some type. When we leave, our bodies all decompose in the same way. So how are some of us viewed as above or below one another? Unfortunately a society, a group of people, sets into place many variables that define individuals. These definitions are very seldom written in words or pictures, but the definitions are present and all people within the society know they are present. Equality does not mean that we have a privilege over someone else. We have our own special code that writes us totally different than anyone else and that type of difference should be celebrated.

Why can I not accept that other person as a special human being with very special ideals? Why can I not accept a different look or a different personality from myself? Because mankind’s arrogance causes us to draw the imaginary lines. We all come wanting to know our purpose and our reason in this world. Our purpose is not to make up these lines to make ourselves feel better. Our purpose should be to erase all lines so each person can reach their birth purpose. It does not matter whether I clean restrooms, cook meals, set up strategy meetings, run a government department, fight fires, develop new software, or do any job that I am born to do. What matters is my attitude about my work and the pride I take in that task, and the attitude I take with those in other areas of work. That is where society has it wrong. I believe it all really comes down to the respect that is given to each other that matters. Equality means respect. Respect says, “You are equal to me, and I respect your contribution to this world.”. Respect says, “I love you for your part in this world.”. In the end the CEO dies the same way a teacher dies. Death is death in this plane, but showing love can be the part of the living that matters.

Equal Times

For one moment in time we were all equal.

No one had more money.

No one had a higher status.

We were all again the same-equal.

We come with only our souls,

And we leave with only our souls.

We gather all these memories.

All these visions.

All these feelings.

A moment for each experience.

The moment works it way into the grooves of our brain.

We think we can be equal.

We can go there.

Where everyone has the chance to rise.

Rise to send forth who we are.

Rise to send forth what we can become.

Rise to where we think we are above an imaginary line.

Equality-The Same-Similar-Parallel.

Is it ever attainable?

If it is not,

Who or what does not allow this same to happen?

Is it pride?

Is it power?

Is it selfishness?

Will this plane ever allow it to happen?

For two moments in time,

We are all equal.

When we break from our Mother’s womb,

And when we decompose into dirt and waste.

We come with nothing.

We go with nothing.

Equality is giving life.

Equality is taking death.

Thank you for reading with me this week. Take time this week to erase the imaginary lines between you and others. Show them how their difference makes this plane a better place. As Dr. King indicated, I hope we celebrate all of our births, celebrate how we carry out our purpose, and celebrate our deaths in this society, as we are claiming this Earth as our home. I pray that millions of years from now if our society is found, pictures will show hearts lined up “equally” with many different figures of many different types of people.

Love,

Rennae

Journey

Broken Skies

Broken Skies

There is such power in light. Light is an amazing energy that can be reflected, can be passed easily, and can travel billions of miles. We find it much less complicated to dash into the dark and to be swallowed up by our misery rather than accept the light and be uplifted by joy and peace. We chose to not take the time to stop and just look for those magnificent views that can soothe our woes and worries. Our uplifting experiences can help others so much. We can bring others hope and love by sharing those experiences. It is our job to break the sky of darkness wide open. It is our job to move that energy through the universe with positive and meaningful happenings in the environment where we are. So sparkle, shine, twinkle, and glow this week into the lives of others!

Broken Skies

The millions of glass sparkles

Lay across the grass.

Rising to meet the sky

Where they sparkle way up high.

Each glen catches your eye

And makes you look for the next.

They shoot through the air

Bouncing off anything that will allow them to reflect.

Twinkle, twinkle little jewels!

Reaching across the million of miles.

You don’t want to miss it!

You have to stand really still

And look with a clean, sharp eye.

Glistening glass will dance right before you!

Knowing that each has traveled so far just to give you joy-

Excites the soul!

Knowing that the one glimmer can then reflect from your eye to give someone else all the joy!

One small broken piece travels so far and so fast.

Simple energy,

Positive energy,

Glowing energy.

Moved through the universe!

Words of Life

Words of Life

Many times my mind is so busy with words and thoughts. It bounces from one word or thought to another with all the rush and hustle of everyday life. Thoughts of what to do next, where to be, who to care for, what needs to be done, and oh yea, plan my purpose! Of course that one always seems to be last. Don’t let this happen to you. Grab those purpose words swirling around and hold on tight. Speak them, write them, draw them, and let them guide you hearing God’s purpose for your life. All of this mind and soul activity is your own specific purpose trying to get out! Use these word of life to unleash your creative purpose. Watch God lift your words to life!

Words of Life

The mind is so very busy.

Or does the brain cause this busyness?

Most of the time words are just constantly floating, spinning, and whirling.

I am confident that my soul will recapture that mind—

Or brain—or words to bring forth my Creators purpose.

Even when I do not understand the words—

The Creator does.

The Creator helps me to create my purpose.

This purpose is unique.

A purpose that carries this mind to reach where the physical cannot go.

A passion that moves the mind from chaos to creativity.

Oh! Creator let my soul always be open so that—

These phrases can take me to levels never conceived!

The mind is my purpose and my passion.

But only with the soul as its guide.

And the soul has the Creator as its mentor.

Mind-or Brain-or Soul please always float, spin, and whirl my words.

For the Creator sets those words to life.
